Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective October 4, 2026 · Version 2026-10-04

This policy describes how Winter Works Software, LLC ("Winter Works," "we," "us") handles consumer health data in the Cassiel app (the "App"), as required by Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar state laws.

1What this covers

We do not ask for health information, and we treat it the same as anything else you enter. This policy covers any health-related information you choose to include in your tasks, notes, goals, chats or, if you turn on calendar access, calendar events, and in the facts the App records from what you tell it.

2Sources of this data

You, through what you enter in the App, and your device calendar if you turn on calendar access.

3How we use it

Only to provide the App's features, to review conversations flagged for possible violations of our Terms of Use, and to comply with law.

4Sharing

We do not sell or share consumer health data. It is stored with the rest of your data in our Amazon Web Services account. We disclose it only when required by law or valid legal process.

5Your rights and how to exercise them

You can get a copy of your data, withdraw your consent, and have your data deleted. Because we do not sell or share consumer health data, there are no third parties to list.

How to make a request: email support@winterworks.net from the address on your account. You can also delete your data or account at any time in the App's settings, and you can withdraw consent by turning off AI features in the App's AI Features screen. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend that by another 45 days when reasonably necessary and will tell you why. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Appeals: if we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond in writing within 45 days and explain our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint or the attorney general in your state.
